Can Rollers in Miami’s Little Havana Survive Lifting Cuban Embargo?

What will be the fate of a small group of elite Cuban cigar rollers in Miami who have created a niche industry making special edition cigars that sell for as much as $700 per box in Europe?

The city's Little Havana district - which was characterized in 2013 by Cigar Aficionado magazine as "a new hot spot for creative cigar makers" - may face an uncertain future in the wake of the decision by President Barack Obama to normalize relations with the island nation.

That includes about 10 rollers working at El Titan de Bronze (The Bronze Titan), a Little Havana store named after Antonio Maceo, a general in the war for Cuban independence from Spain.

GO HERE to see several photos of the operation at El Titan.
